What W.O.W is all about...
Our mission is to disciple women through the Word of God, foster Christ-centered fellowship, and mobilize them for gospel-driven service.
WOW is a movement of women shaped by the Word, committed to one another, and ready to serve. As Titus 2 reminds us, this kind of ministry protects the integrity of the gospel and strengthens the church from the inside.
Upcoming W.O.W. Events
February 6, 2026 - Women's Valentine's Event
We will gather in the gym to organize cards and gift bags with toiletries and candies for the residents of Palestine Healthcare Center. Then we will go to the nursing home to distribute gifts and sing hymns with the residents and workers. February 6, 2026 / from 2-4pm.
May 16, 2026 - Spring tea
Guest Speaker: Andrea Heck. "The Adornment of Holy Women"
Please join us for tea, snacks, and encouragement from God’s Word!
May 16, 2026 / 10am in the WBC Family Life Center.
October 9-10 - Women's Retreat
This retreat is for the women of WBC to join in Bible Study & fellowship. Location TBD. Sign-ups will be available when it gets closer, online and on the church app. $50/person. Oct. 9-10, 2026.
december 12 - Christmas caroling & cookie delivery
Please join us at the church as we gather to share the love of Christ with some of our senior adult members by bringing cookies and carols to their homes. We will prepare bags first, then carpool in groups. December 12, 2026 / 10-11:30am.
